Olympia 2011 19 NOV 2011Event Date: The annual sports meet of Tiaano Vidyashrm with the motto “Participation is the spirit of sportsmanship” was held on 19th of November 2011. The Chairperson of Tiaano- Ms. P.E.Nancy, trustees – Mrs & Mr. Jeyakummar and Dr. Thara Shridhar were all present to pep up our tiny tots. With Ms. P.E. Nancy sharing a few words with the Tiaano family the mood of Olympia was set in. The event started with the “Action song” by the Pre KG students, which was followed by other fun filled activities like the froggy race, sorting colour balls, getting ready to school, which kept the children and parents happy and totally involved. The highlight of the day being the aerobic movements the kids ebulliently displayed. This was not all; there was a “Tug of War” for the parents to participate and to be one with the kids. A symbolic representation that every child is a winner was in the air when each child received their Sports cup. Olympia 2011 ended with the National anthem sung by the students, parents, teachers and well wishers of Tiaano Vidyashrm Sl.
